WAPI BESTOW HONORARY MEMBERSHIP TO TED POTTER
At the WAPI AGM today, December 8, 2020, it was proposed that Honorary (Life) Membership be awarded to Ted Potter, a very well-known and respected Professional Investigator based on Bolton UK.
Over the past years Ted has been a voice of reason in the political turmoil within our ‘fragmented’ industry sector, and supportive to the sector in many ways.
His ongoing support for WAPI is now acknowledged.
Ted was a very successful career Detective serving in the Merseyside Police, Regional Crime Squad, Robbery Squad, National Dedicated Drugs Unit successfully investigating and detecting Serious and Organised Crime nationwide.
Using the skills and expertise gained through this very productive and successful law enforcement period, Ted received many commendations for the arrest and conviction of high profile criminals.
The expertise and wide ranging experiences gained within the police were later transferred into the private sector. This resulted in a wide ranging portfolio of very satisfied clients at all levels of the business sector and also the private sector both at home internationally.
PD Corporate Professional Detectives evolved as the ‘Go To’ solution providers providing the special and very professional skills that could be applied to the clients specific issues.
PD Corporate Professional Detectives is composed of highly experienced former police detectives, covert surveillance operatives, forensics specialists and electronics engineers. We are also able to call on a number of other associates special skills tailored to the clients requirements.
Ted’s passion for providing clients with the best solution is tempered with providing a cost effective but highly professional service, that is as cost effective as the task allows, and avoiding potential compromise, that could lead to reputational damage.
“Ted Potter is Operations Director of PD Corporate Professional Detectives based in Bolton, UK. Ted’s background is that of a former Police ‘career’ Detective with a large North West Police force, and secondments to specialist units targeting Organised Crime Gangs, Drug Enforcement, and Covert Surveillance operations operating on a nationwide basis but laso internationally. The skills acquired over many years in those areas are now being provided to our clients in the Private sector by our very skilled personnel with the same expertise and experience, leading to very successful conclusions.
The company provides nationwide services in a full range of Investigative areas, whether for individual private clients, or those in small or larger businesses as well as the Legal and Insurance sectors. Ted Potter was an active member of industry including formerly held positions as Chairman of Ex-Police in Industry & Commerce (EPIC) and also as member of the Governing Council of the Association of British Investigators (ABI).
PD Corporate Professional Detectives provides its services through a well-established network of professionals from law enforcement, military and also the Forensic professions. Our covert surveillance operatives are fully trained and highly experienced and properly equipped with the relevant equipment. PD Corporate Professional Detectives are fully compliant with liability insurance and notified with the Information Commissioners Office for Data Protection.”
