INDIA: “The Supreme Court has observed that private investigation remains an “area sans regulation” and that a mechanism is needed to address evolving methods of evidence collection, including photographs and videos allegedly procured through private investigators or detectives.”
The Indian Supreme Court’s observations on regulating ‘private investigation’ are a welcome development for our industry. We look forward to the dialogue among all stakeholders and to seeing how this develops.
